Knightsen
The town of Knightsen was founded in 1898 when the Santa Fe Railroad determined where tracks would be laid for lines that would eventually reach Stockton. Knightsen has always maintained its small town charm and rural roots. Mostly ranch properties and farmlands are found in this gem of a community. It is said that the population of around 1,600 people is about the same as the number of horses in the area. The agricultural opportunities now include winemaking and Knightsen hopes to grow the industry and provide a secluded niche wine community.
